Workshop Goals

The DSW workshop aims to become one of the significant summits of young researchers in Europe establishing research trends in the areas of Mass Customization, Personalization, Co-Creation and Open Innovation, for the following reasons:

Trends & Novelties

To offer information on current research topics presented by the chairmen of the PhD workshop, renowned keynote speakers and other established members of the MCP-CE community.

 For the voice of the MCP-CE science – responsible: Scientific Committee

Feasibility & Implementation

 To offer support in the choice of the right research method for the given type of problem, as well as to connect young researchers with companies which can offer an opportunity of conducting research and checking the research hypothesis.

For the voice of the MCP-CE business – responsible: Business Committee

 Networking & Socializing

The workshop will be held within the framework of conference giving an excellent opportunity for young researchers to meet each other, as well as other participants, some of whom are leading world names, and to discuss relevant topics with them in both formal and informal environments.

Presentation Slides

Besides the submitted conference paper, DSW participants are invited to present themselves and their research in form of short presentation. PhD student needs to prepare presentation on four slides:

1. PhD student data, Affiliation, Mentor data

2. Accepted doctorate topic or outline of the doctoral topic, Area of research, Problem description, Keywords

3. Hypothesis and/or Research questions

4. Planned method and/or place of the conducting of the research hypothesis/questions


Conference Proceedings and Paper Presentation

All papers will be printed in the proceedings of the conference.

All topics related to MCP-CE 2018 are welcome.

Possibility of Participation in 2 Joint Events in 2018!!!

PhD students who register for DSW workshop are eligible for participating in all MCP-CE 2018 conference sessions. Fee for PhD students for four days (PhD Day + 3 MCP-CE Days) is 360€. This includes sessions for all 4 days of DSW, MCP-CE conference, workshop proceedings, coffee breaks, lunches and banquet (http://www.mcp-ce.org/information/conference-fees).
